Over the summer, I ran into two different ex’s whom I had not seen in years. While both were glad to see that I was doing well for myself, they indirectly both asked the same question: Why did I dump them. At the time that I did drop them, I did not have the maturity to truly articulate the honest reasons. I may have said we are “growing apart” or used the classic line “It’s not you, it’s me”, but that wasn’t it. I, like most men, dump women we once were in love with for one of the following 6 reasons.
6. All your friends are single.

Surfing the net this past weekend I came across this video of Porn Star Jazmine Cashmere announcing she was quitting the adult film industry, and that she has found God and religion. I am not one that knocks anyone for getting serious with their life, and wanting a closer relationship with God, but I also believe you can’t ignore a person’s past. No one is perfect, and odds are, when that newly saved person backslides, they will fall right back into the deep dark habits that they just changed from. Can you ignore a woman’s past when looking at having a future with her?
