The 2010-11 NFL Season kicks off tonight, and there are more subplots and story lines heading into this year than any in recent memory. YoungBrothas.com takes a look at 10 burning questions leading into kickoff, including our playoff and superbowl picks. As always, each week, we will drop our predictions posts for the upcoming games.

10. What non-playoff team from last year will surprise everyone?
The Detroit Lions. We don’t think the Lions will make the playoffs or anything, but Detroit will be much better than last year. A soft schedule, and some confidence after a few wins early, and you never know. 8-8 isn’t a reach for them.

9. Will Mike Vick get a chance to start at some point this year?
Yes. The Eagles parted ways with Donovan McNabb in favor of Kevin Kolb, and while Kolb has shown flashes of greatness as a backup, the pressure of playing in the NFC East could get to him during the season. Whether by injury or play, at some point look for Michael Vick to get the nod in Philly.

8. Can Donovan McNabb turn D.C’s team around?
No. Things aren’t starting out well for the Redskins new QB, who is hampered by injury leading into the season. Washington is still a year away(at least) from being a playoff team, though with a big name coach and QB, expectations are as high as they have been in a decade.

7. Can Mark Sanchez take the Jets to a Superbowl?
No. Last year, the Jets were a feel good story that got hot late and made the Colts sweat in the AFC title game for a half. Ever since then, coach Rex Ryan has become the biggest trash talker in the league, and his team has a bullseye on their backs like no other team that hasn’t won anything. QB Mark Sanchez is good, but not great, and in a conference where there are better at his position, he will be asked to win a game or two late. We aren’t sold on him being able to do that.

6. Will Chad Ocho Cinco and T.O be able to co-exist?
Yes and No. The VH1 reality tv stars will make things interesting in Cincy, but how many wins will that equal too remains to be seen. Based on their schedule, a 9-7 year and fighting for a wildcard till the very end looks realistic.

5. What playoff team from last year won’t make the playoffs?
Bengals. The Steelers will start out with Ben, but look for them to rally behind him when he comes back and make a late push to knock out their division rival for the final AFC wildcard spot.

4. What player will fall off the most from 2009?
Larry Fitzgerald. The Cardinals WR doesn’t have Kurt Warner to throw him touchdowns anymore, and does anyone expect Derek Anderson to be the second coming?

3. What coach will get fired first?
Jack Del Rio, Jaguars. The Jags are not improving quick enough, and find themselves likely out of playoff contention before the season even kicks off.

2. Does Brett Farve have enough for 1 more Superbowl run?
No. The Brett Farve story should have ended last year, throwing that INT that led to the Saints winning the NFC title, and eventually the Superbowl. This year, things in Minnesota will not be the same. Expect early losses, finger pointing, and Farve retirement talk starting up before Thanksgiving.

1. Who will play in the Superbowl?
Defense wins championships, yet offense is sexier. This year’s Superbowl will feature a great defensive team take on a dynamic offense. The AFC will be represented by the new look Baltimore Ravens, whose veteran defense will rise up one last time for a chance at a ring. They will take on the “home team”, the Dallas Cowboys, and their dynamic offense full of weapons for Tony Romo to throw too.
