5 Reasons Why Sistas Hate Kim Kardashian

They may never admit it, but deep down inside anytime photos pop up of Kim Kardashian next to a paid brotha, black women all around cringe. Similar to the way many of them hate on Vh1′s latest reality hit starring Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco. You know, the show, where number 85 has a tournament style dating elimination bracket, and 75 percent of the women are not black in it.

Why is it in 2010 so many sistas make it their business to hate on the women brothas choose to date? At first I thought it was because the brothas didn’t choose them, but it actually goes much deeper than that.

I have narrowed it down to five essential reasons why (some) sistas hate on the Kim Kardashians of the world….

5. “They are taking all our men”….
How many times have you heard this? Black women that use this statement fail to realize that it’s not the woman who is taking anything, but rather the man making the choice to be with that woman.

4. “When he was broke, these women were nowhere to be found…”
Sistas that start their arguement off with this fail to realize that when you are broke, many things are different. Who you are dating is the least of your worries. A broke brotha can still pull a dime of any race or color, and if his game is tight, can get her to take care of him.

3. “He just wants a trophy wife…”
This might be the weakest of all the arguments. If that sista was the one he chose, she wouldn’t care what anyone thought. Most would gladly be the “trophy” of a successful brotha.

2. “She’s superficial”.
Not too many sistas can say this without looking in the mirror first. After you take off the weaves, lace front wigs, MAC makeup, and tummy girdles, who’s really fake?

1. “I would never date anyone outside my race.”
I had a sista tell me this the other day, to which I replied, “that’s too bad”. She looked puzzled, asking why I said that. I told her I’m sorry you don’t find any other man other than brothas attractive, but I definitely don’t discriminate when it comes to women. Don’t get me wrong, black women are always my first choice, however, I’ve been known to try out all 31 flavors at some point. If you are reading this, and you haven’t, you should too. You might be surprised that you have a taste for something other than chocolate.
