The 5 Real Reasons LeBron Chose Miami

We all heard in the hour long special LeBron James put on Thursday night the politically correct reasons he gave why he chose to Heat over the Cavs, Knicks, and everyone else. But now that I have had a few days to digest the news King James won’t be coming to my beloved Knicks, I finally broke down the top five real reasons he is heading to South Beach.

5. The Weather.

All things being equal, where would you rather spend your next six winters, Chicago, Cleveland, New York, or Miami? If you are honest, or a 25 year old multi-millionaire, the choice is easy. Waking up on Christmas Day to 74 degrees before you lace em up against the Lakers or Celtics will be nice for ‘Bron and family.

4. The Weed.

I’m not saying LeBron smokes, and have no evidence that he does, but it’s no secret the drug game down in The 305 is strong, and some of the best product can be had in Dade County. Not that I know, I’m just sayin….

3. The Wins.

There had to be a basketball related reason, right? Well, when you combine two of the top three players in the league on the same team, what do you come up with? Not since the days of Mike and Scottie(in his prime) could you make that same claim. The Heat still need to add some pieces around Bosh, Wade, and James, but with a nice mix of veterans and rookies, they could be a problem next year. Problem = 65-70 wins.

2. Mr. West, Mr. West.

You don’t think that Delonte West rumors had an effect on LeBron’s decision to leave the Cavs? Don’t fool yourself. He won’t ever come out and admit it, but as soon as the story of Delonte breaking off LeBron’s mama hit the net, his entire game changed.

1. The Women.

Imagine being 25 years old, already worth over 400 million dollars, and not yet in the peak of your career or earning potential? Now, imagine, having all of that and living in the playground that is South Beach. Scary thoughts, but a problem I wish I had. LeBron will get a chance to host some of The 400 Club’s parties, make friends with Ricky Rozay and DJ Khaled courtside, and deal with groupies fans that look like this….
