Cheaters Never Prosper….

There are plenty of double standards in relationships, and how people handle cheating is near the top. Most guys I know that have cheated in the past have attempted too (at least as soon as their girl found out) try to get back with her. They would give whatever lame excuse or reason to justify their actions, hoping that temporary moment of insanity doesn’t cost them their relationship. Would you feel the same way if your girl stepped out and cheated on you?

A friend of mine was in this very situation a few weeks ago. The brotha, who I will refer to as “Down on his luck Chuck”, had been with his girl for a little over a year. Things seemed to be going good, however he wasn’t totally satisfied with her. At least, that’s what he thought. Chuck wound up cheating on his girl with an ex girlfriend that he was still cool with. Weeks later, everything hit the fan, and rather than break up with him, Chuck’s girl agreed to try to make things work. Chuck thought he had received the second chance he hoped for. He was dead wrong.

While Chuck put his guard down inadvertently, his girl was plotting on him. She had been putting off advances at work from a peer who had been wanting to dig her out for the longest. Chuck never knew about this co-worker. Well, he wound up finding out the hard way, via evidence that somehow found it’s way to his computer screen. While just a month and a half prior Chuck had begged for forgiveness and understanding for the same issue, he now found himself to the point of ending the relationship immediately.

Was he wrong for reacting that way? Was his girl wrong for getting revenge? You can decide that. One thing is certain, our latest man law is simple. Once you cheat, leave, immediately.
