Breaking Up Should Be Easy, Right?

When you finally have realized it’s time for the relationship to end, having “the talk” with your soon-to-be ex should be easy. Sometimes guys make it much tougher than it has to be. Other times, the woman, desperate to hold on to the relationship, will manipulate the man and make him feel bad for trying to break up. There are 5 tactics many women do in order to avoid the break up. Take a look at the list after the jump.

5. The I Love You Game.
Your girl may all of a sudden become much more expressive verbally, saying I Love You throughout conversations in an attempt to reinforce the feelings you “have”.

4. Selling her self to you.
She may decide to remind you everytime you talk about all the good things she does well, when feeling like the relationship is about to end. While her good traits may be true, those bad ones are the reason you are on the fence to start.

3. Sex, Sex, and More Sex.
A desperate woman knowing her relationship is on the rocks may give her man what she perceives will cure all, some good loving. This might be good short-term, but don’t forget the reasons you came to the conclusion that it’s over after all.

2. She’s The Victim
One of the oldest tricks in the book is to use reverse psychology, and make you feel that you have done something wrong. Sometimes you really may have, but often you did not. Whether it be by senseless argument, or random topic, pick up on the times the victim talk shows up.

1. Showering you with gifts.
Women that are desperate to keep their man may decide to give him what he wants or they believe he needs. It might be tickets to the Lakers game, or a vacation to Vegas. Either way, when she goes over the top in the gift giving, and it is not during good times, beware.

So what do you do when you notice these traits? The best advice is to stop her, and have “that talk”. Both of you will be better off because of it.
