Not to say if you were busted by a cop for soliciting some head for $40 it would make the news or the front page of YoungBrothas.com, but it could cause some unnecessary stress in your life.
So the story from overnight goes like this…
The NY Post had the scoop first.
Grammy Award-winning R&B singer D’Angelo was arrested early yesterday after allegedly offering an undercover policewoman $40 for oral sex while cruising alone through the West Village — with $12,000 stashed in his SUV.
D’Angelo, 36, whose real name is Michael Archer, was in his top-of-the-line Range Rover at Greenwich and Horatio streets at about 2:30 a.m. when he spotted a woman he took to be a prostitute, sources said.
He was arrested and charged with solicitation after asking the woman for sex, the sources said. His manager declined to comment.
Times must really be tough for Mr. Archer. At one point, he was “the man”, dropping one of the sexiest videos ever, and getting ladies panties moist at a moment’s notice. Now, he’s cruising the streets of NYC late Saturday nights trying to pick up hookers. The sad part to all this is he probably has done this more than a few times, and been successful in his quests. This is the first time he actually got caught. Fellas, it’s just not worth it.

So disappointed in D. He has more talent in his pinkie toe than these artists (if you want to call them that) that's on the radio now. He needs to get his ish together and release some new material!
Sadly D’Angelo has really been a non-factor in music for too long probably to come back.
I disagree. Someone leaked his song on youtube and it had over 17K views in 48 hours before it was deleted.

I personally don't agree with the fact that prostitution is still illegal in this country. I would never sleep with a hoe off te street but if aman or woman cant get it where they have to and need it elsewhere why not? These are grown ass people. Thats why prostitution is legal in some parts of europe. Yeah it has its risks but doesn't alcohol, guns, and maybe in the near future weed?
So you want it to be legal to trick?
