My Girl Gotta Girlfriend!

Our latest installment of Monday’s Mailbag comes from YB reader Lamont, who dropped us a note asking for advice on his revelation that his girl was cheating on him, with another girl.

I saw y’all taking questions and I got a problem I need some help with. I been with my girl for almost 3 years now, and shit been real cool until the past couple months. She moved in my house last year, and I was thinkin things were gonna get better cuz of that. Instead of the sex gettin better cuz we saw each other all the time, it got worst. After some snoopin around, come to find out she was cheatin on me. I had emails, but when I brought it to her, she told me…she was cheatin with a girl! What the hell do I do now? She said she wanna be with me, but I cant truss her.

What is there to think about? There is no love with no trust. It doesn’t matter if she cheated with a man or woman, if she cheated once, she will likely cheat again. No matter how much you patch things over, the relationship will just not be the same, as you said it yourself, you “can’t trust her.” It’s up to you whether to continue with a relationship with no trust or cut your losses now, (yes, 3 years is a long time but wasting a second in an unhealthy relationship is worse) and find somebody who you can trust.
